In order to further gather innovative resources, promote cooperation between industry and universities and research institutes, and build a communication platform to learn advanced technology and experience from home and abroad, Suzhou Productivity Promotion Center (SZPPC) organized an event where representatives from Suzhou high-tech companies and innovation bases of cooperation between industry and universities visited the Shanghai Jiao Tong University for matchmaking activities. 

The matchmaking event was organized by Suzhou industry-university coordinated innovation service center and were supported by the science and technology development center of Shanghai Municipal education committee and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. More than 40 people, including leaders from some high-tech companies like Lexy Electric Co. Ltd., Suzhou Langgao Electric Machine Ltd., and Suzhou New Tongchuang Auto Air-Conditioning Co., Ltd., and representatives from innovation bases of cooperation between industry and universities such as Suzhou Industrial Technology Research Institute of Zhejiang University, Suzhou Dushu Lake Higher Education Town, and Kunshan Industrial Technology Research Institute. 

The event was presided by Li Zhe, director of Science and Technology Cooperation Office of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. It was mainly about the Robotic Research Institute of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Su Jianbo, a professor with Institute of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering, introduced a project of natto robots, and Fu Chong, a professor with Mechanical and Power Engineering Institute, introduced a project of humanoid robot hand, which is of biological, mechanical and electrical integration. These professors conducted an in-depth exchange in the matchmaking event of technology commercialization. In the afternoon, the representatives visited the result exhibition hall, smart city demonstration exhibition hall, natto robot project laboratory, and mechatronics humanoid robot laboratory of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University. 

The matchmaking event was highly spoken of by these representatives. Some companies have reached an initial agreement of cooperation with the professors of the University. The SZPPC will continue to improve the services on industry-university cooperation, provide the result resources and information services of the Shanghai high education institutions organize these institutions to provide training of technology and management talents and promote an effective communication between technology companies and higher institutions.
